Platinum

The Platinum series spans Japan’s DPt era from October 2008 and the English Platinum, Rising Rivals, Supreme Victors and Arceus sets of 2009. It added Pokémon SP, Basic Pokémon owned by trainers such as Team Galactic, kept Pokémon LV.X, slipped Shiny Pokémon cards into three sets and gave the Arceus set a nine-card subset of Arceus, AR1 to AR9. LV.X holos and the Shiny Pokémon cards are the chase cards, and grade decides their value.
