In 2016, Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG core boosters dropped Ultimate and Ghost Rares from Breakers of Shadow on, and Ultimate Rares moved to tournament packs. OTS Tournament Pack 1, the first of its line, arrived in March with Masked HERO Dark Law as an Ultimate Rare, and Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions Movie Pack followed in July. Dark Law became one of the chase cards, and its value fell after Rarity Collection reprints were announced in 2023.
