The Hobbit

The Hobbit is the August 2026 Magic: The Gathering expansion based on Tolkien’s novel and Magic’s second trip to Middle-earth. Unlike The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth, it is legal in Standard, bringing back Adventures and Sagas and adding the storied and recruit mechanics. Chase cards center on the headliner, a gleaming gold Smaug the Magnificent with about 500 copies, found only in Collector Boosters.
