1998: all 11 Magic sets with their card lists and current market prices. Pick a set to see what cards are in it.
Magic: The Gathering’s 1998 releases include Stronghold, Exodus, Urza’s Saga and Unglued, Magic’s first joke set, printed with silver borders. Exodus began marking rarity with the color of the expansion symbol, and chase cards such as Gaea’s Cradle, Serra’s Sanctum, Mox Diamond and City of Traitors are all on the Reserved List. That status, plus Commander demand for Gaea’s Cradle, drives these cards’ values.
