Magic: The Gathering’s 2023 releases include March of the Machine, The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth and The Lost Caverns of Ixalan. The Lord of the Rings and Doctor Who expanded Universes Beyond, and serialized cards spread, including a one-of-one The One Ring found in June 2023. Serialized Lord of the Rings cards are the chase cards, and bans move values too: The One Ring was banned in Modern in December 2024.
